BSC Game of the Week

Post by TomCat88 » Sat Sep 27, 2014 9:46 am

What game do you think will be the best game today?

I'm going with Cal Poly at NAU. Poly looked solid last week and seems to be rebounding from the pre-season player issues after their 42-14 trouncing of PSU that included 470 yards on the ground. NAU got off to a bad start at South Dakota last week and couldn't get back. I look for the Jacks to have their usual edge at home (elev. 7,000'), but I'm going with Poly in a close game.

The other game I think might get interesting is Sacramento State at ISU, but I still see the Hornets as a two TD favorite in that one. ISU has improved and hung with a tough Utah State team and had a great start against Chadron over its last two games.

MSU - 16 team National Champions (most recent 2024); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).

NAU-Poly is on Fox Arizona. Very entertaining game and a sell out in the Walkup. I think NAU has the best scoring ritual I've seen - the Logging sports team fires up a chainsaw and whacks off a chunk of log... Awesome.

Looks like the Davis - EWU game is turning into the game of the week.

Didn't see this coming.

*Edit - I think I just jinxed it, EWU scored as I hit submit.

Portland Timbers MLS soccer Club does this too but did NAU start this or did the Timbers?

Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.
