Frozen Four: Minnesota vs. North Dakota
Classic rivalry between these two. I think UND beat Minnesota back in 2005 in the national semis. The Big Ten alignment caused them to not play each other during the regular season this year, but they meet in the semis tonight. Should be a dandy.
Union plays BC in the other semi.

WOW!!
Gophers score a short-handed goal with 0.6 to play to win 2-1. That was the most insane game-winning goal I've ever seen. They win a faceoff with 9.6 to play in the UND end and get off the shot from about 15-feet.

That was the most incredible goal I've ever seen. I feel bad for fellow BSC rival UND, but that was a once in a lifetime play. Reminded me of the Christian Laettner shot. Stunning. Sports Center led with it.

I didn't even notice that until I read your comment. Unbelievable!! That should go down as one of the best finishes in NCAA history - ALL SPORTS!!

Holl's a senior defenseman. He scored his first goal of the season with 0.6 to play, short-handed, to send his team into the national championship against his team's biggest rival for the hockey craziest state in America. You really can't top that.tdub wrote:I didn't even notice that until I read your comment. Unbelievable!! That should go down as one of the best finishes in NCAA history - ALL SPORTS!!
