It actually wouldn’t surprise me to see us do the same thing we did to the jizz in the fourth quarter. Throw a huge bomb and if it’s incomplete, no biggie. Run the same play again with a different receiver and a fresh set of legs, like when Jonsen picked up that 45-yarder. That poor corner had a 100% sprint on back-to-back plays.

I think Yogi's line was "90 percent of the game is half mental." Although, 62% of the time, it works every time" sure sounds like it could have been a "Yogi-ism."91catAlum wrote: ↑Fri Aug 23, 2019 6:56 amLol no it's a line from the movie Anchorman.allcat wrote: ↑Fri Aug 23, 2019 6:54 amIs your first name Yogi?91catAlum wrote: ↑Thu Aug 22, 2019 6:22 pm62% of the time, it works every time.wbtfg wrote: ↑Thu Aug 22, 2019 5:35 pmWe ran that play multiple times last year, and I think it worked every time.Cledus wrote: ↑Thu Aug 22, 2019 5:28 pmOur guys train at elevation, too. Can't make up my mind as to which is better - 55-21 or 48-14.

I very rarely scroll through the look a likes thread because it seems a little childish.DriscollCat wrote: ↑Tue Aug 20, 2019 11:09 amIt’s one thing to make a silly joke about a guy comparing him to someone he vaguely (basically doesn’t) resembles. It’s another thing for people to come in one after another and just rip a guy apart (not that the lookalikes thread is my favorite).ilovethecats wrote: ↑Tue Aug 20, 2019 10:12 amBoy, you're going to be devastated when you see the "lookalike" threads here every week....DriscollCat wrote: ↑Sat Aug 17, 2019 11:41 amGeeze guys, this is a public board.
I can’t imagine you guys would want people to post a picture of you on a public board and say these kinds of things. I know I certainly wouldn’t.
Honestly, if this was a private conversation, it would be one thing, but this is a public forum.
I think it’s difficult for a lot of people to appreciate that this is the internet equivalent of finding a bulletin board on campus, posting a guys picture on it and a bunch of people leaving comments under it just kind of tearing apart his appearance.
This thread is about the Texas Tech season previews, so this is going to be my last post on the subject. I feel like I’ve said my piece, and I’m not going to clog the thread up responding to further challenges to my post.
Man you guys missed the boat on this one.
Poster said we were being mean making fun of O-coordinators picture.
I said, you're really not going to like the look-a-likes thread then.
Another poster says that look-a-like thread is childish.
I say I agree. It's childish. Similar to stuff I hear at the games....
At no point once did I say I don't like those things. I'm usually pretty loud at games and as a guy that sits right behind the opposing teams....I guess you could say I'm pretty childish.
I said look a like thread seems kind of childish to me. You agreed that it’s childish. I think we are on the same page.

Over on the TT board, an MSU fan started this thread:

A legit question asked and gone unanswered is "What does MSU run schematically?"
I'm thinking we run some kind of Triple Quarterback Run/Pass power option.

They also asked a different legit question if our poster is contributing to their hotties thread. I'm thinking NOTSAC needs to form up an account and show them some Montana surprises.Rich K wrote: ↑Mon Aug 26, 2019 8:44 amOver on the TT board, an MSU fan started this thread:

A couple years ago in the playoffs, the Pats did that to the Jaguars. Ran streaks almost the whole first half. Dominated the 2nd bc the Jags defense was so tired.wbtfg wrote: ↑Thu Aug 22, 2019 5:35 pmWe ran that play multiple times last year, and I think it worked every time.Cledus wrote: ↑Thu Aug 22, 2019 5:28 pmOur guys train at elevation, too. Didn't someone decide that hotties were also childish. I'm not sure if I should even look at that thread. I better look just to keep you children from walking down the wrong path.Rich K wrote: ↑Mon Aug 26, 2019 8:54 amOr maybe one of them will stop by and give us a "howdy" and contribute to oursDarth Yoda wrote: ↑Mon Aug 26, 2019 8:51 amThey also asked a different legit question if our poster is contributing to their hotties thread.
