I can’t remember the name but I know who he’s talking about. Went to an FCS school back east and was actually on the Peyton list I believe. One guy I am thinking of in the "moved on and had a big career" category...…. its driving me nuts, but I cant think of his name or the school he transferred to (which really helps narrows it down... ha). Anyway, he was a WR (fairly hyped up recruit, I believe from Oregon), I want to say he was a freshman here around 2010/2011 ish… played in like 1 or 2 games as a freshman or redshirt freshman... then transferred to a school out east I believe, and by the time he was a senior he was one of the leading WR's in the country with some different stats/categories....
anyway, if you can figure out the name of this guy I'm thinking of, kudos to you (its on the tip of my tongue). That is probably the biggest example of a Bobcat I can think of that moved on to a different school (same level as us or higher) and really excelled.

Just by chance I sat next to his friends/family during his a his final spring game as a Cat, and his story isn't really any different than King or Strong. It boiled down to him thinking he was much better than the kids playing ahead if him, and in hindsight he was correct. It seems this was another example of the culture and fit issues some kids seemed to have with Ash toward the end.

Thank You! Nothing wrong with trying something new, a new school, a new team. More power to them.

There was a lot of that and more. The players didn't respect Ash at all. It was a mess.Darth Yoda wrote: ↑Mon Jan 28, 2019 10:29 pmJust by chance I sat next to his friends/family during his a his final spring game as a Cat, and his story isn't really any different than King or Strong. Nice work on the searches. The links prove in recent years, transfers havent done much once they left MSU. I realize some redshirted but none of those stats are mind blowing.
