UM will continue to do what they have done the last five years - be mediocre to fairly good- but wildly inconsistent. Stitt doesn't strike me as a strong leader for that team. UM can't afford to have a mediocre football program. Football is all they've got to hang their hats on. They have put all their eggs in one basket with athletics. You think the school could attract more students and be the focal point in itself. They have a pretty campus in a cool/picturesque city. You don't think of their honors college or their MBA program- which are truly bright spots for them. If UM were a stock - they'd be a risky buy.
