From what I've heard it was only a matter of time. Don't be surprised if a bunch of women -- ala Tiger Woods -- come out with their stories. Stay tuned.

I still don't understand the outrage that comes out in this country when two adults have consensual sex. Is it just jealousy because a lot of people aren't getting any?

I mean, sure, he was married, and this wasn't his wife. But it's not like married people actually have sex with each other. He had to get it somewhere. What's the big deal?

The big deal is that it's not just a case of two people having sex. There's more than can come out of this. He hired the gal, so you open the administration up to law suits from people who may have applied for the job and now feel they wrongly didn't get the job because of this relationship. She supposedly was in charge of athlete eligibility and is sleeping with the head football coach. You don't think there may be a conflict of interest on both parties? And lastly, what if Ms. Dorrell wants to claim sexual harassment? She could always come out and claim that Petrino forced her into a relationship to save her job. This case could go a whole lot further than just two people having sex. Arkansas will probably fire both individuals and probably should.

I suppose. That depends on when the relationship was compared to when she was hired, IMO. Even if they did know each other before he hired her, I don't see that as the end of the world. There are a lot of different reasons to hire people, and hiring someone you know because you know you can trust them isn't the worst reason by a long shot.

There may have been a conflict of interest in the hiring process. I don't see any on her part. She's in charge of athlete eligibility for the University, so she wants to do a good job, make sure all the players are eligible, and protect the school from NCAA sanctions. She's sleeping with the head football coach, so she wants to do a good job, make sure all the players are eligible, and protect the school from NCAA sanctions.

It seems that the general public has a difficult time distinguishing between a conflict of interest and having multiple motivations in pursuit of the same interests.

Well if that's the case, I will join the chorus of outrage as an equal. I may even exceed them. So far, no such thing has come to light, so I don't see this as a cause for outrage.

Well, I guess that's your prerogative to casually blow off all these scenarios, which by the way, are happening at what seems daily in the college athletics world. But in the long run, what I see as truly wrong with this is the selfishness that these two individuals displayed in damaging the lives of innocent people surrounding them. I'm sure that Ms. Dorrell's fiance did not choose to have his picture and personal information splattered all over the internet. He may even be looking at calling off the wedding. I'm sure that Mrs. Petrino and his children don't appreciate seeing their father drug through the media, nor they do look forward to answering all the questions that will eventually come their way. Let's just hope that you and you're loved ones are never publicly humiliated in front of millions because of one bad decision you could make.

Summer lovin' had me a cast
Summer lovin', drivin too fast
I met a girl crazy for me
I met a old geezer, crusty as can be

Summer days driftin' away,
To uh-oh those summer nights
Tell me more, tell me more,
Did you get on his bike?
Tell me more, tell me more,
Or does he have a motorized trike?

She swam by me, I got a cramp
He waddled by me, got my suit damp
I saved her life, after wrecking to the ground
He showed off, crashing around
Summer sun, something's begun,
But uh-oh those summer nights

Tell me more, tell me more,
Was it Viagra every night?
Tell me more, tell me more,
Did she ask about your wife?
Took her bowlin' in the Arcade
We went strollin', with his nurse's aide
We made out under the dock
He couldn't get it up, what a crock

Summer fling don't mean a thing,
But uh-oh those summer nights
Tell me more, tell me more,
But you don't gotta brag
Tell me more, tell me more,
Did he call his wife an old hag?

He got friendly, droolin' on my hand
Well she got friendly, which is why we hit land
He was sweet, just turned hundred-n-eighteen
Well she was good, if you know what I mean

Summer heat, grandpa and girl meet,
But uh-oh those summer nights
Tell me more, tell me more,
How much dough did he spend?
Dont tell me more, don't tell me more,
Could we be near the end?

He turned even older, that's where it ends
So I told her, her dad and I would still be friends
Then I got the hell outta there and how
Wonder what she's doin' now

Summer dreams ripped at the seams,
But oh, those summer nights

well said. how about the fact that it is just ethically wrong? i don't care if a single dude wants to bed a thousand chicks. have at it. but what about his wife who is now heart-broken and humiliated? what about his kids who just came to realize that their mother wasn't even important to their own father. how about the same kids who could easily witness a divorce because of the allegations? how about the fiance who just found out that the wedding he thought he was having in a couple months....might not be happening. what about the fact that jobs will probably be lost, and not just by bobby and this chick. you think his staff will be retained if he's canned? it's selfish...and it's wrong.

like i said, it's not just hooking up with someone. it's ruining lives in the process. last time i checked banging a bunch of chicks isn't going to hurt anyone else unless you let it. this is just so dumb. what about other minor things? what about stealing from people? what if they are loaded? my boss is filthy rich...is it cool if i start padding my pockets with his cash? after all, he probably won't even realize it's gone. it's not going to effect his life at all. what's the big deal?

although you know what WOULD happen? i could lose MY job. that would really screw my family. they'd be angry and embarrassed. a lot of innocent people can be hurt by selfish decisions....

and just to clarify...this is all ASSUMING that he was doing more than giving this chick a ride on his bike. if not....i don't see the issue either. but he lied about it....so i'm thinking there is more to the story. :D

'Better get a bikini,' he replied. 'You'd never get it all in one.'

These are great

Every time I fill out an unimportant form with a line for "sexual orientation," I always write, "That won't be necessary. I've done it before."

This case could go a whole lot further than just two people having sex. Arkansas will probably fire both individuals and probably should.
I do agree, plus one cannot ignore the disrespect, embarrassment, and fallout that may come to those that are immediate family to these two.

I figure about the time Petrino is finished whatever rehab is necessary for doing whatever he was doing with a knockout 25 year old gal, the Griz will be ready to hire a permenant coach.

Maybe he could teach the guys how that happens without a roofie.
