I was at that game, there was also a player if I remember right Marvin Eagle Feather or something like that. He looked 40. Apparently unless you can prove they used up their eligibility they can play forever. I had this confirmed once from a student at MSU that said they always went back to play for the tournaments.

George yellow eyes played for the Montana State School (pine hills) in Miles City in 1959. My dad played for Plains who took second that year. George scored 103 points in his three games. My Dad said he was amazing and could shoot from anywhere. Just think no three point line then

Sorry if that link went directly to my Facebook. If you search on Facebook for the page Montana Class C Basketball the first 50 years you will find pictures of the teams. George Yelloweyes played in the 1958-59 State Basketball tourney. Here is a link to his picture if you do not have Facebook https://flic.kr/p/x5n8Un he was on the all tourney team.

1959 State School Beavers - George Yelloweyes (#4) scored 103 points in three games, including 46 in a 76-71 win over Belgrade. Yelloweyes scored 711 games in 30 games during the 1958-59 season (23.7 points/game).
