Bryant Tournament

Post by nevadacat » Fri Sep 02, 2022 7:21 pm

Ladies get swept by Boston College 21-25, 23-25, 23-25. We gave an ACC team a run for their money. Still no Kira Thomsen.

Tough to watch. No sound and one camera zoomed way out in the Bryant facility. Would think a $60k school could do better.

Next up: Haah-vaahd at the crack of dawn tomorrow.

Kira is obviously an All Conference caliber outside striker, but she's been much more than that. She comes up huge just at the right time and can will this team to victory. We simply aren't the same without her. I would love to hear an explanation.

Ladies were up 2 to 1 on Harvard, and up 16-12 in set 4. Then, the ball crashes down on the laptop running the stream and knocks it offline. At least there were gym sounds today. There were ZERO fans in the stands.

Bobcats ended up beating Harvard in the 4th set to win their first match. They lost to Bryant in another very even 5-set match. These ladies were a hair’s breath from being 5-0 instead of 1-4.
