Same Old Bobcats vs ISU

Post by Helcat72 » Thu Mar 01, 2018 9:06 pm

They look great passing the ball around getting looks inside and blowing the layup. ISU by 6 Clines misses 4 out of 6 from the line. Connor Frye our only threat so far. 4:40 to go in the half.

They've given up 16 points in less than 4 minutes in the second half. What an absolute joke.

Make it 29 points in 6 1/2 minutes. You have to actively try to be this bad.

Omg...this is brutal. We're down only 41-38 at the half, then outscore us 29-9 in the first 6 and a half minutes of the 2nd half to go up 70-47. 29 points in 6 and a half minutes!?!?!? That's ridiculous!

Now it's 37 points in 9 minutes.

Unreal. This is Huse level bullfu**ery.

Don't let this distract you from the fact that the griz blew a 22-0 lead.

Well at least we started a game thread tonight. Worst effort I've ever seen by a MSU team in any sport, ever. Going to crawl under a rock to not have to pay attention to Saturday's beat down by Weber. Night everyone!

Seriously. Is Weber going to beat us by 50? I'm not kidding.

Not out of the realm of possibilities. We are that bad and that uninspired.

Had the game on with my tablet. Fairly decent game. Looked at the score, 47-44 ISU. Couldn't have been two minutes later and it was 57-44 and from then on it just collapsed. Good grief, what a disaster!!! Total embarrassment!!!

I have always been very impressed by the loyalty that Cat fans display.

We usually stay on to the bitter end, even when you know the outcome is going to be a loss.

However, last night, quite a few folks headed for the exits with 13 minutes left in the game and the Cats
down by 23.

The fans quit on their team. But it also appeared that the team had quit as well.

Can't really fault the fans for leaving, especially since the game started late due to high school playoff
games scheduled earlier in the Brick. It was after 9:00 pm, there were 13 minutes left, and the MSU team had quit.

Why stay? To watch ISU play ball?

Regardless of the outcome I would never leave early.
