Men's Basketball preview

Post by mslacat » Thu Oct 11, 2018 9:49 am

Relax it is not my preview but Jay Sanderson did a great interview/ preview with Coach Fish. I thought it was pretty damn through. Fish danced around a few question (he reminds me so much of Stu Starner in that regard) but he actually covered a lot of stuff I was wondering about. The most interesting thing, in my mind, was the possiblity of the Bobcats having a line up with two 6-11 guys on the floor a the same time. Listen and give some reactions.

BTW just for the record, Stu Starner was/is one of my favorite Bobcats coaches, but he could be a real schmoozer and would dance around questions at times.

Really enjoyed it. You have to be careful not to think this team is making it to the Final Four with how he promotes them, but even with that grain of salt it does sound promising. It will be nice to have some size on the floor, and it sounds like the experience Hall and Frey have picked up COULD pay big dividends. I'm very intrigued about the upcoming season.

Fish is always great to listen to when bragging up the boys, and this is no exception. He's got me up above the 50/50 forecast I had before listening... now we are a top 3 Big Sky Team. Go Cats!!

One small observation at first glance, Ladan Ricketts has a quick, quick release!
