Re: Spring Ball
Vigen talked about the pass from Tommy to Taco so I’m pretty sure that one is correct.

Gary thought your question read "would you as an individual Bobcat fan want Garret to come back to the Cats in the Fall?"94VegasCat wrote: ↑Sun Apr 14, 2024 7:23 pmAlrighty then.
Given that you said "Could" at the beginning of said question, I'm going to say yes. There's not a rule against that. I highly doubt the team would let him come back. I believe there is a caliber of player that MSU would accept back, and no disrespect to Garret, but he is not at that level.

I don't believe there is any caliber of player Vigen would allow back That is his rule and a good one. If Ifanse was not allowed back then I doubt anyone else will be.kennethnoisewater wrote: ↑Sun Apr 14, 2024 8:34 pmGary thought your question read "would you as an individual Bobcat fan want Garret to come back to the Cats in the Fall?"94VegasCat wrote: ↑Sun Apr 14, 2024 7:23 pmAlrighty then.

I think it’s a good precedent to set. Players will really think about their decision to enter the portal instead of just testing the waters with a chance to come back.94VegasCat wrote: ↑Sun Apr 14, 2024 9:57 pmAgreedkennethnoisewater wrote: ↑Sun Apr 14, 2024 9:19 pmThat would have been an excellent answer to the original question.gtapp wrote: ↑Sun Apr 14, 2024 9:12 pmI don't believe there is any caliber of player Vigen would allow back That is his rule and a good one. I heard Vigen say that too although I saw it with my own eyes and texted a friend about the play. I just went back and double checked my text. Reed was in full contact and Tommy was in yellow non contact, so aside from looking and playing completely different, it would be hard to get confused. I feel like I'm being gaslighted for some reason.TomCat88 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 14, 2024 8:19 pmTrue. confusing.Long Time Cat wrote: ↑Sun Apr 14, 2024 8:15 pmVigen talked about the pass from Tommy to Taco so I’m pretty sure that one is correct.

Haha! I don’t blame you. But I do believe you that Reed threw the touchdown to Taco.CatBot wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2024 8:20 amI heard Vigen say that too although I saw it with my own eyes and texted a friend about the play. Where is the Bobcat version of Abraham Zapruder when you need him? I think Chance Wilson threw the pass from the grassy knoll.TomCat88 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2024 8:52 amHaha! I don’t blame you. Re: Spring Ball
I was surprised to see Marquis on the participation report, some reason I thought he left, maybe because he didn't get a whole lot of touches last year. He's a very explosive athlete, I hope we can figure out how to use him.

I’ve noticed it’s been that way for a week or so and think it had the same issue last year. Home field advantage?

Sharbono was a nice development Saturday. I believe he’s a DT and that kind of production from that spot is impressive.lutecat wrote: ↑Sat Apr 13, 2024 7:00 pmSharbano....seeing where we are and his last name(though spelled differently) we should call him....T Sharbano!kwcat wrote: ↑Sun Apr 07, 2024 8:21 amNot for sure who all is out. Spring ball tends to have players sitting out or limited due to injury/surgery. With Valdez gone the position isn’t as good as it would’ve been but there seems to be a lot of talent there between Schmidt, Brott, and Black. Are any of them out?gtapp wrote: ↑Sat Apr 06, 2024 11:44 amVigen made a comment about the DL needing to catch up I will take that as DT's. We have always lacked quality depth at DT. Hard to find big and athletic DT's at our level. I think we have some good players at DT but not great and I worry about even one injury and the effect it will have at that position.
I think MSU might be really good at LB with Bryce Grebe in the mix. Could actually have good depth there, which hasn’t been the case recently. Add in Owens and Daly as coaches and who knows.
Secondary looks really good. Tons of experience and getting Polidore back at full strength is going to make a big difference.

Been following Sharbono in NE small town Montana for a long time. Hard working kid with god-given natural ability across multiple sports. Excited to see him fill that frame a little more and see what he can do moving forward.TomCat88 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2024 7:34 pmSharbono was a nice development Saturday. Word around the program is coaches and players are calling him The "Fairview Freak"... Now that's a nickname
