That does pose an interesting question, one that I think might be realistic. Will the new board have a protective surface/screen that will keep damage away from FGs and XPs beside just the standard net? I know many times, balls go over the net and hit the screen during games/warmups, and I have always wondered what kind of damage that does to the screen. Seems silly to spend millions on a new hi-tech screen only to protect it with a ratty hundred-dollar net. Or maybe I don't know what I am talking about.....
