Holland, Kollar, Lulay, Andersen
This would also be my choice. Tough to leave off McGhee, but I think Lulay had a greater impact on the program helping so much to get MSU back to relevance while also ending the streak.
Boy I've got to put Fellows on there somewhere. Sorry Travis, but you're coming in 5th on my ballot, Stenerud 6th and Denarius 7th.

Fellows is a great choice as well! My only two definite inclusions would be Holland and Kollar, the others are very much up for debate.

Fellows was definitely a special player and probably had the most dominant year of any defensive player I’ve ever seen play for the Cats.

With no disrespect to the past great players and since have been a Cat fan since moving here in 2001, here is my list:

Lully, McGee, Anderson, Brad Daly

So many great names mentioned, and we haven't even seen some of the all-time greats - Ryan Johnson, Clete Linebarger, Kelly Bradley, Dennis Erickson, Delmar Jones, Paul Dennehy, Cody Kirk, Adam Cordeiro, Sean Hill, Kane Ione, Junior Adams, Caleb Schreibeis......

Would be easier to do this by the era in which they played!

Holland - Kollar - Lulay - Andersen

If Tommy gets us the national championship in 2024, he replaces Lulay or Kollar on my list.

Second team and it’s because I’m young:
Fellows, Old man Bignell, Kollar, Ioane/bobby Daly

I'm not sure I can pick a top 4. I know Holland, Kollar, and Troy are on there. My last spot is an absolute toss up between Rhino, Widmer, Lulay, Ioane, Bobby Daly, Cody Kirk, Stenerud and probably a few others that have been mentioned.

There's the truth, and then there's what's reported in the papers.

Sorry guys, but it is almost criminal to leave off Kane Ioane. He was a 4 time All American. I am wondering if he is the only 4 time All American in MSU history? Maybe Troy Anderson?

Who is Troy Anderson?

Would it be a breach of protocol to put Choate on here...because if not, he would certainly be on mine. He's why we're where we are today.

Choate, Andersen, Lulay, Ioane

Those are great if you're only considering the year 2000 ish and later.

I could reasonably swap Lulay for Holland...but for the sake of curiosity who else would you swap and for whom? (Admission: I got to MSU in 2002...so there's certainly some recency bias...but...let's look:

Choate: Literally rebuilt the program into a national powerhouse, which it hasn't been since 1984
Andersen: 1st team All Big Sky as a QB, 1st team All American as an LB, NFL starter as a rookie, Montana kid
Ioane: 4 time all american
Holland: Well...I mean...what needs to be said?

My brother told me the other day that Anders Larsson never missed an extra point attempt in his MSU career. Is that true?
