Why do they play the game on Sunday afternoon? They have to compete with the NFL on it's last regular season game. Why don't they play it on Friday night? Every sports bar in the US would have it on.
Heck Saturday at noon would be perfect. Only college game on and only one NFL game to compete with at 230.
When the reporter talked to the NCAA president on the sidelines. She said that it was the first time he had been to the FCS Championship game?
How long have they been in that job?

Has anyone heard from grisnaturalist, catfluff, gocartsgo, and those guys? I'm worried about them. They really seemed to think the gris were already national champions before this horrible loss. Pretty sure they local news had an article that was nothing more than one of those guys packing his best clothes for Texas. Looked like he packed them well. Wonder how the return trip will turn out? Hopefully we get a nice update on that from the local news
Silence from them but egris is an abyss of delusion
Delusion over how great they really are?
100% “it was a great season” “just a little more from the offense” “it’s all cause they didn’t call holding gubner’s jersey was torn” blah blah blah

Even though trolling is frowned upon I created a thread that ruffled some feathers and got me banned😂

They were very upset to be reminded that baby hauk is 0-4
Nice job!
Update: account number 3 has been banned. They’re so thin skinned it’s more effort than it’s worth.
You're proud of this? Yikes
My thoughts exactly. Not a good look.

I hate the griz as much as anybody, but they just went 13-2, kicked our asses this year and played for a national title. Not the year to talk s**t…

We still hold our edge in football championships at 3-2 over the frizz. And of course no one will ever touch us as the only school in the country with national championships in the three most important sports: Football, basketball, and rodeo. We won football in '56, '76 and '84. Hoops in '29. And rodeo in '72, '75 and '88.

The Griz got hot after their win over Idaho. Peaked vs MSU, then came back to their norm in the Furman game.

I think that about sums it up.

I give them credit, NOBODY saw this team playing in Frisco as of week 4-5 of the season this year. What they did to turn it around was impressive. It was a good year for the griz. Nothing can take that away.

They kicked the Cats asses, no denying that. That also seemed to be their peak. (Was also the Cats worst game of the year by far, but that’s football).

They earned that #2 seed, But that #2 seed is the reason they made it to Frisco. Their offense was so-so to down right bad at times throughout the playoffs. They won those games on the backs of Junior Bergen and 25k screaming fans.

By the time they run into a superior opponent AND don’t have that home field advantage they got exposed. They were a good, not great team.

As others have said, I think there was a clear #1 and a really good race for positions 2-8 this year, the griz got in the right position to win that race for #2.

The egris mod who trolls here was banning/suspending posters for being critical after that beatdown where it seems the UM offense didn’t even show up to the game. Longtime BN troll @GrizinWashington who is EverretGris there is cheering on the mod removing posts and silencing any posts calling out the coaches. The worst fan forum on the internet topped itself yesterday in being ridiculous. Well worth the minute or so reading it to witness the complete hypocrisy exhibited by those two goofs who are major trolls themselves.

I try to avoid egriz…. But one of their posters said this in the gameday thread, calling out the sdsu defense, and I about spit out my coffee…

“Man, the SDSU defense really seems to try and jump on the pile every play.”

Hahahahahahahahahaaaahahaha. Good lord, they are just delusional.

The grabbing of an ankle after every tackle and holding it for as long as possible. Another fun Griz tactic throughout the years.

Someone needs to make a T-Shirt of Bobby wearing a “Golden Sombrero” for next year’s Cat/Griz game. For you non-baseball fans that’s going 0-4 with four strikeouts!
He’s the Marv Levy of FCS and the Gris are the Atlanta Braves with how often such a “Mt. Rushmore” program blows it when it matters most. What’s their championship record now? 2-6? It’s been 23 years now for a program with so many advantages over other FCS programs. I shudder to think what a truly great younger coach could accomplish with that fanbase and those facilities, so stick around, Bobby!

Because it is just an advertisement platform for the Fbs game and crappy ABC TV shows. Not even a million people care.
I think more casual football fans would care if it was on SATURDAY at 12pm MST. Nobody except diehards watches early January afternoon college basketball that doesn’t involve their team in a national telecast.

What a miserable time slot. I can’t imagine watching that game if I wasn’t time and money invested in FCS football and even with that the attendance was amazing for a neutral-site game. Based on actual butts in the seats it outdrew many of the garbage bowl games that MSU would get every 3-4 years maybe going to FBS by going 6-6 or 7-5.

Mark Emmert retired in March 2023 so less than a year. Surprised the new president made the trip in his first year. Kudos!

McDowell got exposed in this game. Can not believe hauck punted there. That's weak tea.
He’s given up. Hopefully the jacks take it to 30 to 3.
He's also hurt. He hasn't looked good all day.
Yeah we need to give the kid some credit. He couldn't really run after the first few possessions.

I noticed on one of the kick-offs that the gris attempted to team up and attempt to ‘throw’ at least one if not two SDSU players into the path of the ball as it was rolling in attempt to get a turn over. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen that. Is that a new technique that’s allowable?
