FCS Championship Game

Why do they play the game on Sunday afternoon? They have to compete with the NFL on it's last regular season game. Why don't they play it on Friday night? Every sports bar in the US would have it on.

Heck Saturday at noon would be perfect. Only college game on and only one NFL game to compete with at 230.

When the reporter talked to the NCAA president on the sidelines. She said that it was the first time he had been to the FCS Championship game?

That’s sad to me… I wished the reporter would of asked some questions about coming up with some rules and regulations on the portal…

Not to defend the NCAA, but this is his first year I believe.

Curious if you might have this, but what is the series record since the streak ended?

Series is tied 10-10 since 2002. gris also have 1 evacuated win because they cheated.

We beat you fair and square. That whole debacle is irrelevant now that NIL exists. Even without those 2 players playing, we would’ve beat you.

I may not have been raised in MT when you were?, but calling that fair and square is simply BS. The only thing fair and square about it was the gris got caught. However, I can see how a Philosophy degree from dUMb would make a person think like that . . .

Actually, I’m planning on majoring in Mathematics or Law when I get to UM. The violations committed by UM Boosters were posting bail(?) I believe. Also giving out hotdogs to players at tailgates. The game was played and won fair and square. The violations occurred outside of the game.

Out of curiosity, how do you major in “law” as an undergraduate student at UM? I know they are offering a Pre-Law Certificate program starting in the Fall, but as I understand it you also need to graduate with BA or BS and the Pre-Law program is an addition to your primary degree. I may be incorrect on this.

Heartland College Sports listed Bobby H. as a candidate for the vacant Arizona HC job and stating no one has been able to do well at UNLV so that shouldn’t be a knock against him. The article also listed Jeff Traylor of UTSA.

Tells me that the individual does not have familiarity to FCS football which is a knock on qualifications to me.
