Can we call him Steely Dane? I love this family connection. Can't wait to see what this kid will do

He is going to be a stud. I just hope we use him and several others the way that we should if we want to be back in Frisco anytime soon.

Might want to check the origin of ‘Steely Dan’ first and I’m not talking about the band.

If he becomes hard hitting and explosive, the name could reference him tearing and ripping through people

It was a joke. Just a play on his name. I know exactly how that band got their name and the history of how they came up with it wasnt part of the joke lolchadtothebone wrote: ↑Sat Jan 06, 2024 4:17 amIf he becomes hard hitting and explosive, the name could reference him tearing and ripping through people

If she used it as the finisher or punisher, we are in for a real treat.RickRund wrote: ↑Sat Jan 06, 2024 4:38 pmThat is how I heard the story.....Hi-Line Bobcat wrote: ↑Sat Jan 06, 2024 11:41 amDidn’t steely Dan get the name from one of their wives dildos?

I would love to see wrestling back at MSU. I know it can't happen without adding another women's sport, so how about soccer or softball for women and wrestling for men. Soccer and wrestling would probably be two of the cheaper spirts to add in terms of facilities and coaches.

Why not women's wrestling! The NCAA is about to make it a new championship sport and you wouldn't face the same weather issues as soccer or softball would.HiLineCat wrote: ↑Sun Feb 25, 2024 7:27 pmI would love to see wrestling back at MSU. Re: Dane Steel commits
I’m in on adding wrestling! Both men’s a women’s. Montana and the surrounding area has a ton of great wrestling. Just in the AA state finals this year, there is an Iowa, Oklahoma, and Missouri signee. Other D1 guys from Montana at Arizona State, Oklahoma, Wyoming, Northern Iowa, South Dakota State, Binghamton (NY), Oregon State. There are probably others I’m missing. Idaho has a Wisconsin signee (originally from Kalispell). The #1 ranked guy at 149 in the NCAA’s is from Post Falls.
Point is that there is plenty of talent around to put together a competitive team.
The cost prohibitive part is travel and competition. Closest D1 programs are Wyoming, Northern Colorado, and the DSU’s. So conference affiliation is tough with the lack of programs in the west.
Back on topic, if you can’t tell, I’m a huge fan of wrestlers coming to town to play ball! Congrats to Dane, that’s a huge accomplishment.
