Not sure where to ask this… As of this year, Jared White has 351 rushing yards on 35 rushes. Basically exactly 10 yards per touch, however, he is not listed on the NCAA site for yards per carry. Per the site he should be no. 2. What am I missing?

Hmmm. The only thing I can think of is that he hasn’t had enough rushes to qualify? 35 seems like it should be enough though? :-k

Can you break down Troy’s scoring numbers? 33 rushing touchdowns equals 198 points. I know he had an interception touchdown, that would be 204. I remember him scoring a two point conversion against the gris, for a total of 206. Where do the other 6 points come from for the 212 point total? Was there three other two point conversions or did he have another defensive touchdown that I don’t remember? I guessing three other two point conversions.

Hmm. Guy in 4th on the list only has 34 carries so not that.

It’s like they don’t have any individual Bobcats for that rushing stat cause both Sean and Julian should be in top 50 for yards per carry also and are not.

I wonder if there is a quarters played metric? That way a dude doesn’t get 12 yards a carry, then redshirts and is still leading at the end of the season.

*Edit* Although, he is featured in overall rushing yards, where the n. 1 is at 700 some yards at a whopping 101 rushing attempts over 5 games.

Didn’t he have a TD reception at PSU?

I didn’t even think about a reception since most of his offensive TDS were rushing. That might be it.

Just looked. That wasn’t it. At least not the game I was thinking. He had a 32 yard reception but not for a TD.

Heck of a stat there. 35 total TDs - 33 rushing, 1 receiving, and 1 interception.

He even upped the difficulty by having Chris Murray throw him the TD pass. Nothing against Murray, but no one was confusing him for a prolific passer

Ha, yeah I kinda had a "Huh, really? From Murray?" moment when I finally found that. I also immediately wished I could find more about the actual play to try and verify my hunch that it was a swing pass and that most of the 43 yard TD was just Troy being Troy.

It was probably more of a forward hand off on a sweep or something. I'm guessing Troy did most of the work on that one.

The only score I remember from that game is the Bignell interception. I believe that was the game Murray was rocked by a hit to the head area near the ISU sideline, had to go out for a play, but came right back in. Say what you want about Murray, but he was durable and could take a hit.

Quick mention of Nick Lasane in the highlight. Anybody know where he’s at now? Love that run in Missoula out of our three back formation of his.
