Rovig starts getting a little success and rhythm and Miller starts calling fades to the corner of the EZ? I'm just puzzled. It's like he reaches in a hat sometimes and pulls out a random play.
Random, yet oddly predictable.

Lol- how does anyone think Rovig is good or even average?
The loss is on the D, but Rovig isn’t going to do anything special on offense.
Maybe the 2020 season will be Rovig’s year, but he hasn’t shown any improvement this season.

Refs also seemed to have given up at the end of this one. Blatant holding on the receiver in the end zone and no call. They want to collect the paycheck and get home. I realize it’s not close but blown ref calls have cost the cats today too.

This game isn't on Rovig. Convince me otherwise.

I know we are not going to win them all. But losing in this fashion is getting old. No way should we be getting blown out by sac state at home. Four years in we should be competitive with other top teams. One of the most disheartening games I can remember.
Agreed. Choate only has a job today because of cat/griz. Will another win over the griz be enough to continue to keep him? That should not be enough. He needs to win games like this.

Weird, you let Rovig actually set and throw he completes a pass.

And a deep pass after that. Yeah, Rovig's the problem
Looks more like an oline issue doesn't it. I think rovig can function, even without a stellar arm, in a complementary offense. But when the defense gets shredded like this and our run game isn't dominant, it looks like this.
Reads and zip, reads and zip, has a good ring to it. Except Rovig’s reads happen in the huddle and he is going to the guy no matter what. Hell the guy can fall over doing a five yard out and he is still throwing it to him, because that’s the play. But the zip and reads are there.

I hope people still defend Rovig and the play calling so they can get exactly what they want a 3rd or 4th place team in the big sky.

Give grizzaddict all the ****** you want, but he is a 100 percent right.

He doesn’t even get a chance to improve this is on the coaches . Might as well run the triple option with TA

After almost 4 years, this is your offense. Rovig, Bauman whatever, this offense is on Choate. I'm beginning to think Choate is incapable of a good offense.

Certainly seems like he can't recruit a QB

Would be cool if the coaches taught Rovig to throw the ball away.

Eastwood, did not make it. Ball out! Recovered, by Montana State!! The Bobcats hold!!! The Bobcats hold!!!

catsack, agreed. OC/HC must give a QB (12?) the opportunity to improve and prove himself.

It is on the OC to develop a game plan to allow offense (and 12) to develop rhythm with creative run/pass balance

On D, Cats simply could not stop Sac and their QB.

Nice hookup from Rovig to Kassis!!!
34-21 sac...

Not that sac could have picked up a PI on that.
