As far as injuries go, how serious is this?

Long term, he’ll be fine. Shouldn’t affect him at all down the road if he listens to the doc and rehabs properly.

That sucks. But there’s a special surgery they do now that helps prevent that from happening again. That break is usually caused from rolling your ankle after the ligament that you sprain is already stretched out from previous sprains. The fibula bone then takes the load and breaks. The surgery actually makes it more stable than it was before the first sprain.

Talented, high character kid who will play where needed, like many of our kids. We are now seeing how to develop team depth with quality recruiting. It is going to be fun for the next few years!

You know, that is a good point. Choate seems to increase the depth chart by encouraging his "Swiss Army Knives". I wonder if that's a thing.....or is Choate a pioneer? About the only positions this won't work at is OL and DL. Otherwise everybody could be rotated as per need.
