Because his dad and Choate are old cronies from their days at Western.
What a dumb comment. The kid is a 3 year starter at QB for a state championship team and also a state champion wrestler at a school that is comparable to Class A or B in Montana.
Colville’s enrollment is 560. It’d be A in Montana.
Actually Montana's enrollment classifications were revised in 2016. Now look like this:
AA 779+
A 307-778
B 108-306
C 1-107
Washington State breaks down like this:
4A 1252+
3A 991-1251
2A 472-990
1A 225-471
Lower Classes
560 Colville is 2A Washington, A Montana.
Some Montana schools falling into WA class 2A are:
Polson 477
Miles City 556
Belgrade 826
Havre 583
Hamilton 505
Laurel 661
Livingston 500
Miles City 556
Whitefish 480
I've seen some pretty good football players coming out of most of the above schools who have done very well at FCS.
Colville participates in 1A in Washington.
I went with the 560 in the previous post. It is more like 360.
Ok then.....Colville,Washington peer group schools in Montana include...Anaconda, Libby, Lewiston, Dillon, Glendive, Sidney, Billings Central, Glasgow, Butte Central and more..I think

Colville advanced to the semis before losing to Seattle Christian.

I love that. You hear college coaches all the time talk about getting guys who are winners. There's just some extra juice to a guy who knows how to win and works hard to make it happen.

What’s left to know?
Everyone in Montana likes it when a small school player from Montana rises to the top. I’m trying think of some small school out of state players that hit the big time here. Was Kelly Bradley from a small school in Minnesota?
Who ya got?

Yep, Bradley was from Zumbrota, Minnesota. Population of about 3,000.
His brother is a good football coach. Quiz: Anyone know who his brother is?

Good question iaa. Gus Kelly the defensive coordinator for the L A Chargers.
If you're looking for someone with a little authority, I'm your man. I have as little as anyone!

Gus “Bradley”, not Kelly. Lol! He got the Legion of Boom going in Seattle and was head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars for 4 years.

Welp I kinda brain farted that one didn't I? Yes I meant Bradley and must have had "Kelly" Bradley on my mind. It doesn't really take much to get my thoughts up scrambled all.
