The repainting of the East side of the stadium had one bidder at $114,000. Hopefully that's the last money they ever invest in those bleachers and they are replaced sooner than later.

Perhaps this should be under a different heading, but I'm confident Chris Murray will be in a Bobcat uniform next fall. Can't speak for Josh Hill or Jabarrai Johnson.

Compared to the IPF, press box and east grandstand this seems like low cost project. I don’t think it’s the next priority, but I wonder if doing this in conjunction with the football facility is being considered. Kind of like how the lights were put in right after the EZ project.TomCat88 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 02, 2019 3:44 pmThanks.AFCAT wrote: ↑Sun Jun 02, 2019 3:25 pmHere is phase 1.

I have to imagine that people/donors will want to have seating put in place in that end zone once the athletic center is up. It’s really going to change the look and feel of the place.

Anyway, if they build this with end zone seating in mind, then I’d think it might be relatively cheap since there wouldn’t be any electrical or plumbing work. It’s just concrete and probably some steel. Maybe cost around $1-2 million? Anyone have a rough idea?

How can there not be plumbing and electrical? You would include restrooms and concessions.TomCat88 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 09, 2019 8:06 amDon’t they say the first sign of senility is talking to yourself? I think it is about time they came out with some more videos of the stadium improvements. Maybe one that is more detailed and shows where my new seats will be.

Based on the drawing that EZ could either use restrooms in the adjoining grandstands or restrooms in lobby of the new facility? Since they would only have about 2,000 seatsallcat wrote: ↑Sun Jun 09, 2019 9:04 amHow can there not be plumbing and electrical? Re: Facilities - Coach Choate
Thinking completely optimistically Maybe the $2.5 million increase is for the NEZ stands and not inflation.
It is envisioned to provide 2,000 additional seats (general seating and accessible seating) while also providing space below for other program elements: concourse, restrooms and concessions. A new scoreboard, videoboard and stadium sound system would be included as part of this project, or as a stand-alone project, coordinating with the North End Zone seating and the Bobcat Athletic Complex.

It looks like the seating would have a couple gates coming up from underneath and a concourse below with concessions and restrooms, so they’ll include plumbing and electrical, but that could be stubbed in during the building construction. I have no idea what the cost would be.TomCat88 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 09, 2019 11:27 amBased on the drawing that EZ could either use restrooms in the adjoining grandstands or restrooms in lobby of the new facility? Yes, I see that now. Only seeing drawings with seating, I have a hard time picturing what that end will look like without seating and just a building. I think there are quite a few college stadiums that do this.iaafan wrote: ↑Mon Jun 10, 2019 7:04 amIt looks like the seating would have a couple gates coming up from underneath and a concourse below with concessions and restrooms, so they’ll include plumbing and electrical, but that could be stubbed in during the building construction. Have they said where the scoreboard/sound system will be relocated to? Or will it just stay in place?

I hope it's not relocate as more of ewplaceand then relocate. If we are updating, we better get a new video screen. The last one is not holding up and it was hard to see from the end zone seats.iaafan wrote: ↑Mon Jun 10, 2019 7:04 amIt looks like the seating would have a couple gates coming up from underneath and a concourse below with concessions and restrooms, so they’ll include plumbing and electrical, but that could be stubbed in during the building construction.
