Be patient. Good news on the horizon. We are a lot closer than you think or will be shortly.

Re: Facilities - Coach Choate
I suppose there will be some extra money generated from the mandatory Bobcat Club surcharge for all tickets outside of the south endzone. From $25/season ticket on the goal line to $250/season ticket for the midfield sections....in addition to the new prices for tickets. Tickets in the gold section will cost in the neighborhood of $500 a piece. Almost double what they were. I assume everyone in those sections are already boosters, but I wonder how many outside the 50 yard line sections were Bobcat Club donors before. I may be way behind the curve regarding this news, but what is the difference between charging $250/ ticket with a $250 surcharge for the Bobcat Club, or just charging $500/season ticket? With the new tax changes, donations don't even count for anyone under about$125,000 per year. The standard deduction is up so far, the only advantage to donating money to charity is for the state deduction.
I just found out that the Griz have been doing that for years. I guess it's time for the Bobcats to join the big time (playoffs every year, and ranked in the top 10!) now that we're paying for it!

Gold seats are $350 per seat to Bobcat Club and $242 for tickets. That's $98.66 per game. If you want club access, add $257 per seat. That's $141.50 per game LOL..... It's out of control.

In past years, you were required to purchase a Bobcat Club membership prior to purchasing season tickets. Your Bobcat Club membership level/fee would determine what section you could purchase season tickets. To buy tickets at the 50 yard line, it requires a Bobcat Level membership of at least $1,500 and allowed you to purchase up to six tickets. That Bobcat Club requirement averaged to $250 per ticket, the same as it is today - except it is charged on a per seat basis instead of for a group of seats. This Bobcat Club membership requirement applied to all sections for all season ticket holders in past years. In essence, there has not been the increase you suggest.Helcat72 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 01, 2019 8:37 pmI suppose there will be some extra money generated from the mandatory Bobcat Club surcharge for all tickets outside of the south endzone. By the way, I know the Bobcat Club had a hard time in past years tracking membership/contributions and coordinating with the ticket office on eligibility to purchase season tickets. This new system of charging the Bobcat Club membership in conjunction with each ticket is much easier to track and ensures all membership fees are collected.

If your worried about the money, don’t spend the extra on the stadium club access...
Seriously, there are about 500 gold seats in the stadium. That is about 2.8% of available seats. To charge a premium for the best seats in the house is standard operating practice for every sports or entertainment company in the country.

Is this basically what the facility will look like? I’m seeing two building with something connecting them. Is that right?

The building on the right, along Kagy, is a proposed future addition.

I have to imagine that people/donors will want to have seating put in place in that end zone once the athletic center is up. It’s really going to change the look and feel of the place.

Re: Facilities - Coach Choate
Thanks Cataholic, so we are not expected to retain our Bobcat Club donation....it will be assessed with the tickets. Probably spreads the load to those who rely on a big booster to.buy their tickets. At first I though this was BS, but now I see the motive, and you can't really argue!Cataholic wrote: ↑Sat Jun 01, 2019 9:56 pmIn past years, you were required to purchase a Bobcat Club membership prior to purchasing season tickets. Definitely will make a big difference. Not to start anything with Griz fans but you can barely notice their facility from inside the stadium. It has a low profile.TomCat88 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 02, 2019 3:44 pmThanks.AFCAT wrote: ↑Sun Jun 02, 2019 3:25 pmHere is phase 1.

Tick, tock. Tick, tock.
What will come first?
A) a bunch of roster changes
B) an announcement that the $ is in

You can basically follow the roster changes as the #'s are released each day from msubobcats.com.

That’s true, however, I think a news release concerning Hill, Murray, Johnson and others who are retiring or didn’t make grades, etc is imminent.VimSince03 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2019 10:00 amYou can basically follow the roster changes as the #'s are released each day from msubobcats.com.

I don't believe MSU has to release that information.iaafan wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2019 11:09 amThat’s true, however, I think a news release concerning Hill, Murray, Johnson and others who are retiring or didn’t make grades, etc is imminent.VimSince03 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2019 10:00 amYou can basically follow the roster changes as the #'s are released each day from msubobcats.com.

They don’t have to, but it sure seems like they always do. Maybe not in an official press release. One way or another I expect there’s a handful of roster changes coming the next couple weeks. Time will tell.VimSince03 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2019 11:15 amI don't believe MSU has to release that information.iaafan wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2019 11:09 amThat’s true, however, I think a news release concerning Hill, Murray, Johnson and others who are retiring or didn’t make grades, etc is imminent.VimSince03 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2019 10:00 amYou can basically follow the roster changes as the #'s are released each day from msubobcats.com.
