Re: Jay Sanderson leaving
Best wishes to Jay and his family. I hope everything works out for them.
This is a big loss for Bobcat coverage - I think Jay has been a terrific broadcaster.

Wow. I hope all goes well for the Sanderson family. To say we were lucky to have him would be a vast understatement. Thoughts and prayers to your family Jay and as far as I'm concerned you'll be a Bobcat for life!

Really going to miss Jay. He is a great announcer. Admire him though for thinking family first. Hope he comes back to MSU when things improve in Kansas.

Re: Jay Sanderson leaving
I figured we would lose him sooner rather than later, talent like this belongs with the big dogs. Bummer we are losing him for an unfortunate reason. Thoughts, prayers and well wishes are with the Sanderson family!

Can anyone give me a history lesson on the past announcers? I remember Attebury.

Re: Jay Sanderson leaving
It is sad to hear this, wish him and all his family the best. I am just glad that he will go out with calling the Miracle in Missoula. I have watched the fumble 100+ times and it just wouldn’t have been the same if it wasn’t Jay calling it.

I was so bummed to see this, but I understand his reason. He will be much missed! I hope whoever replaces him keeps up the podcast as well, I really enjoyed that.

Re: Jay Sanderson leaving
Losing jay will be like losing Connor. Both guys did more for MSU than they get credit for. All the best Jay, you were truly the best.
If your left, you aren’t right.

Thanks Jay! While we were on the road, you brought the Bobcats to life for my wife and I. At Cat Chat you always had great interaction with the coaches and kids and had always done your homework....a true professional.
Our best wishes as you face the challenge ahead.

Re: Jay Sanderson leaving
Having Jay as the voice of the Bobcats has been great. Going to miss his game calls, but wish him the best in his family situation and his career in the future. He has great talent, so imagine regardless what he wants to do in the future, he'll land on his feet.
