I'd like it if all home games through the end of September were night games and then switch to all day games in October. It can get hot sitting under the sun for 3 hours in September. Plus, Gold Rush is just more fun under the lights.

Haha, I originally read your post to mean that you weren't sure if it was going to be a daytime game despite the 4pm EST tag. I suspect ILTC may have read you the same way.

I just prefer day games for sports like football, baseball and soccer that primarily play outdoors. I like the atmosphere better. I also prefer grass over SprinTurf/ FieldTurf. Hopefully grass becomes more cost effective and we can bring it back.

Basketball and hockey doesn’t matter if it’s night or day since they’re inside.

Yeah, eventually I figured out what you meant. It was just kind of a double-take moment. I can definitely appreciate that perspective. I mainly prefer college football to be played during the day too.

I always enjoyed playing under the lights. However, one can dress for a December playoff game under the lights, even in Bozeman. As far as playing in late afternoon in Texas early in the season. Hot.

I give a shout out to the Athletic Department for getting the schedule out way way earlier than when Fields was around, but it'd be nice if they'd post game times sooner.

Texas Tech game is now listed as airing on Fox Sports Southwest. I hope that feed gets picked up locally by somebody, or its off to the sportsbar I go
