NDSU's Oline were literally grabbing & pulling our defenders onto the ground on every run play throughout the entire 1st quarter. Go back and watch the film of it! It was asinine what the ref crew was allowing them to do. Not even Bama could've slowed down the crimes their Oline was committing in the 1st qtr.

But another interesting question - Which team was it again that rolled into Missou Francisco this year and laid the biggest beat down on UM in Washington-Jizzly stadium in its history?

The NDSU offense AVERAGED 40 points the last 2 years, scored at least 52 points in 7 games the last two years. According to your logic the entire MVFC and most of the playoff field should fire their DCs then.

Yeah its not like there is no one questioning how he does things. The 10 yard cushions on WRs drives me batty. But at the end of the day he shut down a lot of teams in the second half and was working with probably 2/3 of the deck. If we ever get depth at all 3 levels, I think you would see a Weber level defense for sure.

I like Gregorak and am glad he is our DC at this point, but I'm thinking the real issue here is that the staff, although they have come back from the last 2-3 years of the Ash era, has a ways to go and watching NDSU, Colgate, WSU, and Maine so far seems to illustrate that somewhat.

NDSU, SDSU and EWU all beat us up this year and they are all in the semifinals. We are clearly one of the next best 12 teams in the country. After we address a couple of missing pieces, we will be in that semifinal group of teams.

Yes. And Weber was not terribly far off from the semis as well! 4/5 losses MSU has were to the Top 5 teams in the country! Facts! Griz fans hate facts. The Griz will NEVER be back. It' over for them. They are not a Top 4 Big Sky program.
