MSU @ Weber State predictions
We've been discussing keys to the game and such so far this week. Let's see what everyone thinks the outcome will actually be.
I really don't see either team scoring more than 17, and even that may be a stretch. We haven't caught any big breaks turnover wise, but I think we force a few fumbles this Saturday and come out on top.

Re: MSU @ Weber State predictions
I remember so many games in the Big Sky where EVERYBODY sets it up to be either a shootout or a low scoring game and it turns out the opposite. I'm going to go middle of the road and pick with my heard here rather than my brain.

A defensive slug fest in Ogden! Bailey earns Big Sky Special Teams Player of the Week with three long FG's and 1 Extra Point. We move the ball between the 20's which is enough to get it done. Turbo Troy Tebow, busts a long one in the third quarter. Cats win in a stunner, 16-14.

Re: MSU @ Weber State predictions
Being completely objective, I just don't know if the Cats can do enough on offense to beat Weber on the road...a team that held EWU to 6 points last Saturday. We haven't yet proven that we can be competitive against really good teams, and I think Weber falls into that category. I expect that we'll play them tougher than we played SDSU or EWU, but I believe we'll still fall a bit short. WSU by a score of 31-21.

Re: MSU @ Weber State predictions
Weber has the tools to stop our run game...and because we don't as of today have a passing game, I think we falter. Our D will play well but will be on the field a lot and I see the score....

Not gonna predict a score.... but I have a good feeling about this one. I think we will finally see that signature win Choate has been waiting for...
gonna be a hard fought, close game though. Cats will need to play mistake free football, and avoid those stupid self-inflicted penalties/dumb plays.

Re: MSU @ Weber State predictions
Hey Bobcat Nation, hope to see a bunch of you in Blue and Gold in Stewart Stadium this coming Saturday, weather is supposed to be fantastic for football.
I think this game is going to be a defensive slug fest very similar to what Weber fans saw last Saturday against Eastern. For Weber I see 1 special team's touchdown and 4 field goals, (2 thanks to turnovers) and MSU getting 1 offensive touchdown and a defensive fumble recovery for a touchdown for a Final of Weber State 19, Montana State 14.
For those coming down, safe travels.
Let the Battle of the Mountain Cats commence
GO WILDCATS!

I predict that the CATS will win. We're driving over from Boulder, Colorado for the game. (Of course I mean BOBcats)

Re: MSU @ Weber State predictions
weber's D appears to be very good. as does their special teams. their offense looks pretty awful. to me this is a VERY winnable game.
I think this will be a knock-down drag out fight. the team who makes fewer mistakes will win.
bobcats win 16-10.
