Coaches Tour

Post by RobertCats » Tue Apr 17, 2018 9:07 am

I just heard on the local radio that Coach Choate and co are going to be in Cut Bank on 4/23 at the Elks club. This is the first I have heard of anything regarding any event like this, does anyone have specifics or other locations they might be visiting? I know they have done a spring coaches tour in the past but I remember reading more about it online or on twitter.

They usually get after it right after spring ball (which is now).

Representatives from Montana State Athletics are scheduled to make their annual trip through the Eastern part of Montana at the end of the month when they begin the 2018 Bobcat Club Road Trip.

The Bobcats may be coming to a town near you when they begin their swing through the eastern part of the state.

Montana State Director of Athletics Leon Costello, football head coach Jeff Choate and head men's basketball coach Brian Fish will take part in a majority of the 2018 Road Trip and have an opportunity to meet with Bobcat fans.

The Road Trip begins on April 23 with stops in Lewistown and Cut Bank as women's basketball head coach Tricia Binford joins the main Bobcat contingent serving as special guests. The journey continues on Tuesday, April 24, with a visit in Glasgow then continues in Plentywood that night with volleyball head coach Daniel Jones partaking in that event.

MSU's travels take the Bobcats to Glendive for lunch on Wednesday, April 25, and the MSU crew wraps up its third day on its drive with an evening in Miles City. The Bobcats close out the trip with a lunch in Billings on Thursday, April 26, before heading home to Bozeman.

More information on each event along the Bobcat Club 2018 Road Trip can be found on the Annual Scholarship Fund's Events online page. All proceeds raised at the fundraiser benefit the Montana State University Bobcat Club Annual Scholarship Fund. The Bobcat Club's Primary focus is to secure funds for athletic scholarships for student-athletes and to promote academic success, athletic excellence and the betterment of Montana State University as a whole.

Here's more specific information on the events
https://msubobcatclub.com/events

I see the Lewistown leg of the trip is listed, but I don't see anything specific about Cut Bank.

Edit: Here's the agenda for the Cut Bank stop

It was a tremendous experience to chronicle the East Side Swing last spring.

So if both ours and their coaching staffs were in Glasgow today.....very interesting. I hope we won that matchup.
