My thoughts on the roster when it was released a few weeks ago:

Also, my selections and the actual selections per position group:

Is this game televised. If yes, what station(s)?

No. Dakota 7 Montana zip at halftime. Individually, Mark Estes is showing his athleticism as a kick returner, receiver, CB, and shotgun QB.

Estes was offensive MVP. I thought Choate should have been defensive MVP, but oh well.

Not too bad for an alternate Estes!

Sumner was impressive good vision quick cuts. Estes showed good speed elusiveness, Kleinhans solid at receiver, and Winterburn had a great second half at QB. Jordy Choate was the best all around defensive player on the field.

Couldn't have said it any better - as AFCAT said earlier, future Bobcat recruits dominated. I also think future over the hill recruit Drew Turner had a good game.

College coaches I talked to during recruiting season said Estes, Choate, Turner, Kleinhans and Winterburn were among the best players in Montana.

Anyone get a stat sheet? From the stories I read all I can glean is below. Pretty lame coverage as far as I can see. No story in the Helena IR.

Sumner 31 rushes for 184 yards (5.9 ypc) and 2 TDS. The rushes and yards are both Badlands records.
Turner 16 rushes for 77 yards (4.8 ypc) and 3 TDS. TDs ties Badlands record.
Winterburn 20-30 passing for 197 yards and a TD pass and TD run.
Estes was offensive MVP, but no stats.

Didn't get to watch much of the game on the live stream, but I did watch Choate chase down a running back trying to get the edge. Showed great lateral speed.

Would also point out that he ran an 11.55 100 this year for Bozeman. Pretty darn good top end speed for a linebacker. Kid may be one of the 2018 class sleepers. Hopefully he can put some meat on those bones.

Choate didn’t catch Vim’s (#31) or Howard’s (#23) eye, but he’s a top ten player at least. They probably think so now though.
