Yeah, I try not to read too much into tweets since they're limited in characters, but I can't help but be stuck on the Benson comment, "...put on a significant amount of weight." That reads like 'he got fat and out of shape' in my ever-paranoid, read-too-much-into-it MSU football mind. Usually they say things like, 'he's hit the weight room and bulked up' or 'added mass to his frame.'
I don't think they give out shirts for being a TopCat because he ate the most this winter.

OK, thanks. I feel better now. :)
It was 100% a positive comment from Choate. After he said he put on the weight, he also said Chase has been impressive in the weight room.

I'm in Reno all week covering the Big Sky Tournament for the conference but we will still have a series of stories this week breaking down Montana State as the Bobcats embark on their first week of what's sure to be a chilly set of spring drills. We will have a full breakdown of the offense, the defense and some of the cultural progress the program has made throughout the rest of the week so make sure to subscribe for the most thorough Montana State coverage available - https://skylinesportsmt.com/subscriptions/

I apologize, I must have missed it if it was posted, but what is the spring practice schedule?

Anyone have an updated roster with departures, new weights, new numbers/positions?

From this tweet it looks like Shane Perry a SS/RB from Monte Vista is a new walk-on this spring.

I’m guessing he means it like he strangles the other team. Probably an MMA/UFC term.

As much as I love reading and hearing about how good we look, a part of me wishes I was reading about how the East side bleachers were being torn down and the new coaches players Center was starting to get built in the north end zone. Maybe next season.
