Has anyone ever noticed that Choate will "Boom" the majority of the time in the early evening and in the bottom half of the hour? I know, I have too much time on my hands.

I really like Metcalf due to this. Who knows what he would’ve done if Harrison wasn’t lined up opposite of him. Great lineage and Joey “Jet” Thomas was his coach. Nearly flawless.Postby iaafan on Tue Jan 16, 2018 10:36 am
His HS coach is Joey Thomas. He doesn’t have off the charts numbers, but 45-615-1 is very good considering he was opposite the Washington player of the year Treshaun Harrison at wr and he didn’t start playing football until his freshman year.

When I first saw the Boom, I had to go to YouTube and watch his dad make that "move". I remember watching that game when I was in high school and it blew my mind. At school the next day all of us kids were talking about it. A year or so later I was in the hospital out in Seattle and I got to talking to a nurse who said she was a cousin of Eric Metcalf, I couldn't believe it and the next day she shows up with his signed rookie card. She gave the card to me which I still have. Life is funny sometimes how certain things come full circle. Now his son is going to play collage ball for my Bobcats. Crazy.
