Catching up on some recruits that I hadn't talked to previously. We will have stories on Jack Vering, Marcus Wehr, Cole Oster and Blake Thelen through the weekend.

Wehr will likely redshirt as he is only around 220-230 right now. Nowhere close enough to be an interior defensive lineman in the Big Sky. As far as Blake, the Hout and Choate believe he has the chance to not redshirt next year.

Where do you see Schmidt ending up? Inside or outside on the DL? It looks like he could maintain his current weight and be a monster DE, or put on a few more pounds (not much is needed) and be a force inside....

lots of good young DL guys on the team..... but give it a couple years and I think that Schmidt and Seer Deines (I'm really high on this guy) will be like watching Adam Cordero and Montoya, back when they just destroyed people in the early 2000's.... oh, and don't forget about James Williams.

I am thinking that Deines history with wrestling he could be a game changer..
