Why would we turn someone away with that size and talent?

Choate has made it very clear that he likes to recruit “football players”... best example being TA. Athletic bodies with good size, high football IQ, that can play multiple positions.

This guy looks to fit that description.

Hayden Nease was at a JC last year, Ventura College, listed as a 6'2 225 lb running back who looks like he was also a WR in high school.

Not sure what he would do at MSU?
My vote is no more RBs at this point!
He has a linebackers size, so move him there.
Tight end
That would be my guess with about 20ish # added...

I looked online and was having trouble finding offers before a year at JC and was not sure why.. and looks like we were his first visit this year. Still like the option of FB, TE or WR.
Was he a D1 qualifier out of high school?

2 Kickers in one day? We are only one walk on safety away from duplicating UM's signing day.

Hopefully the recruits can see the news about Lulay and understand the NFL isn't the only option to have a very successful career.

Mo'unga has two years left - Class of 2015, injured in 2017, redshirt 2018.

It's getting crowded in the locker room.
Step up or step away.

Did he get a medical redshirt? Just because he was injured doesn't mean he automatically gets that year of eligibility back. He was a junior on the 2018 BYU roster.

His transfer article said he was medical redshirt with two years left. Didn't play at all as junior.
But uh-oh, 2017 had him with some academic issues.

But DT is an area where I think we're pretty thin.

WR, TE/FB, and DT (or just defensive line) is an area we will likely add transfers before next fall starts.

Jaharie is going to be a beast. I will tell you right now that if he stays healthy and is wise, this kid will be dominating the Big Sky by his second year. If not, you can all call me out and tell me I was wrong.

For those curious 7A is the second biggest division in FL, schools with enroll between 2,009-2,404.

An excerpt from a local paper about Martin, sorry if it's a double post:

“This means a lot,” said Martin, who transferred from Lake Gibson in the spring. “A lot of people don’t see the grind that goes behind this. You work for four years just to get to this day.”

Martin said that academics played a big role in his decision. He plans on majoring in kinesiology and said Montana State has one of the best programs for that major.

I saw that he also has a GPA of 3.5. He could be the best pickup of the year. 6’0” and 230. 4.65 forty. Interest from Iliinois and Southern Miss.
