Re: Final FCS Polls
I find it rather odd that NDSU did not receive all of the first place votes in the coach's poll. What coach really can justify voting for the loser of the Championship game?
I don't even think MEAC teams (North Carolina A&T) should be eligible for this vote. If they don't participate in the FCS tournament I say refer to them as I-AA instead of FCS.

The NDSU coach. I don't think they can vote for their own team.Rich K wrote:I find it rather odd that NDSU did not receive all of the first place votes in the coach's poll. What coach really can justify voting for the loser of the Championship game?

Re: Final FCS Polls
The MEAC can participate in the playoffs. The champ has to go to the Bowl Game against the SWAC champ, but unlike the SWAC, any other MEAC team can accept an at large bid.Rich K wrote:I find it rather odd that NDSU did not receive all of the first place votes in the coach's poll. There is always some jackass looking to be the edgy outlier in these things.Rich K wrote:I find it rather odd that NDSU did not receive all of the first place votes in the coach's poll. What coach really can justify voting for the loser of the Championship game?

EDIT - after reading exppi's post, I am NOT accusing Chris Klieman of being a jackass. Ha
2nd EDIT - Klieman isn't a voter for 2017, so somebody is a jackass!

I also see why North Carolina A&T got a vote.
