He won an award his freshman season at UW for his dedication in the weight room.

I watched Bryce play in high school, man amongst boys. A little raw from technique standpoint because he could dominate with his athletic ability and size.

I asked my coworker, ex high school football star in this area, played at Oregon State in the 80s and is knows his football around here. I asked him if he know who Bryce Sterk was, he said "yea he sucks". But take that with a grain of salt because he is looking at that from a UW perspective, a team that is pretty loaded on the DL and a playoff contender. He said if Sterk could've got up to about 270 or 280 he could be a stud at UW. He then asked why I asked, I told him he just transferred to MSU. He said that he thinks he will do great in the Big Sky, and when I told him he projected as a buck-end he said taht's the perfect fit for him. Said he was a rare stud in high school, just a dominate athlete. Ran a bunch of track, relay, hurdles, threw shot.

He just didn't see him having the top-end athleticism or size to crack the lineup at UW, but he says he could actually develop into an NFL guy at MSU though.

So yea he went from saying he sucks to saying he could be an NFL guy.

Regardless I'm pretty excited. Lynden is a powerhouse program in their division. Gotta love getting guys from powerhouse programs, even if it isn't the biggest classification - means they know what it takes to be a champion, a winner.

Huh? Morehead State Eagles? Hero Sports missed that one by a wide margin.

Does anyone know what happened to Sterk’s hand? All pictures last week have his hand in a cast.

it worked for Troy...….

While registering my vehicles the assessor stated "I have had both Cat and Griz students and alums work for me and the Griz end up working under the direction of the Cats."

Troy played like 5 snaps a game while his hand was in a cast. Hopefully Sterk is a quick healer and can get the cast off before Cat/Griz

I want to say that Callaghan said on the SWX broadcast last week that it was his thumb and I thought he said something about surgery earlier in the Cal Poly week.
