Exactly. Echols is is as much a WR as he is a RB. Lot of versatility there.VimSince03 wrote:Two completely different players. Echols is more of a slotback than running back. Especially if they also sign Zion Echols. The Cats are going to have a pretty amazing collection of running backs next year with the incoming freshman, transfers, and veterans.
Why sign echols if you get Natee?

If Bryce Sterk DE from Washington visited Bozeman I wonder if Jody's tweet was referring to him, since Jody is a grad assistant there? We'll know tomorrow....maybe.91catAlum wrote:Jody Owens tweeeted "kid is legit... Big time get for the Cats"

Naw. Jody said it was when he was coaching HS ball. And he quoted Colter's tweet about Natee. The MICKSTER wrote:If Bryce Sterk DE from Washington visited Bozeman I wonder if Jody's tweet was referring to him, since Jody is a grad assistant there? I really hope we get Sterk though, and it would make a lot of sense for him to come here. If we get Natee, Echols and Sterk, I will be very happy.

It was for Natee. Jody coached high school ball in Texas a few years back before he took the MSU assistant job. In the tweet, he said he coached against Natee. The MICKSTER wrote:If Bryce Sterk DE from Washington visited Bozeman I wonder if Jody's tweet was referring to him, since Jody is a grad assistant there? Nate is a stud. Potential to be our biggest recruit of the year. Check out this video of him during his freshman year at Indiana. Also is a Euless Trinity graduate. I recall a pretty good quarterback and current coaching staff member that came from Euless!

They called them that because the QB's last name is Lagow. I'm a lifelong IU basketball fan, due to family ties with previous coaches, one in particular. Anyways I asked on their message board today about Natee and how they think he will do in our system. I will share what they think after I get some responses.coloradocat wrote:I think we can steal that one.TomCat88 wrote:Indiana fans called Natee and their starting QB bacon and legs.

If we get Natee, Echols and Sterk, that would be a good Christmas.
Sterk is very good coming off the edge...potential at the Buck position.
Echols is FAAAAAAST. Give him a crease, and he might be gone.
Natee is a load! Give him the ball on a simple trap play, and you can't arm tackle him. Also, put him at FB and you've got an athletic "Guard" blocking. Can you imagine the poor 220 lb DE's that will have to take on his 270 lb kickout blocks!

Coach Choate is handing out Christmas presents to CAT fans. Perfect fit, it should allow Troy Andersen to move to LB. It gives us a unique BIG BACK that will flat run people over. Welcome Tyler!!!

I think the other two are Joe Lefors and Lord Baltimore.

Do any of these kids that are being named have to wait a year before they can play, or can they play this next season?

Our last Euless player did a good job of recruiting former teammates to the cats. I hope we can have an in on that team again it would pay huge dividends into Texas again.

I'm excited for him and he could be great. But let's let him get on campus and maybe play a game before we start proclaiming that...exppi wrote:I would concur. Dude is a beast.iaafan wrote:Natee will lead MSU to the natty.

Cripes it’s just a play on his name. His last name is Natee and some people call the national championship the natty. So...oh, never mind.
