The Official-unofficial MSU-unc Gameday thread
This is now the 7th week of the season for the Cats, and we are sitting on a 2-4 season. We know who we are...to this point. A team that could of, should of, would of...but really hasn't defined itself as a finisher. Will we start finishing? Will we close out teams? Will we maintain discipline and maturity and not self destruct? Will we learn to win?
IF there is a time and place to start to get some answers to those questions, UNC is the game. Clearly we cannot look past anyone in the league because we've proven not only can we play with the best, but we can also gift wrap some other teams some wins! That is the sign of an immature team. Will the 2017 Cats be known for potential, or for growing up?
Our running attack which we all love is definitely a strength and something we can't lose.
Our passing attack is a weakness and something we have to develop.
Our defence needs to work on the middle passing game routes, as well as shutting down every teams run game. Last week there were way too many yards given up on the run.
Today, we have a chance to begin to answer some question about our future. No more moral victories...this team is young and it's future is being writing today!
Go Cats, Go!

Small crowd. No energy in the place. Cool and breezy conditions. Only game of the season on natural grass. Place where we have not played well in the past.

I have the opposite feeling. My hunch is that we dominate today.BelgradeBobcat wrote:Small crowd. No energy in the place. Cool and breezy conditions. Only game of the season on natural grass. Place where we have not played well in the past.

An away game and a griz bye. I've got a feeling this thread will be a classic.

Sounds like there will be 20-25 miles of fresh air every hour. Splendid day for football.

Pluto shows this games on it's schedule, I thought Root games were not on Pluto.

As long as the receiver has one arm free ...BleedingBLue wrote:Apparently it's no longer a penalty according to Big Sky refsnevadacat wrote:Nice PI there by the bears.
