Mid-season camp

Post by TomCat88 » Thu Oct 19, 2017 5:55 pm

No disrespect to UNC, ISU or Kennesaw, but MSU should treat the next three games as a mid season training camp of sorts. Now, now put down your torches, pitchforks, waterboards and bump stock supported AR-15s and hear me out. At some point the Cats are gonna need something to make up for their miscues (since it appears that's not going away soon) and the spot that has the most room to do that is the pass game. If Choate thinks he has some weapons (McCutcheon, Troy Andersen, ?) that Murray can connect with he can roll the dice now, develop them, and if it works and they peg wins the next three weeks they could be a freak show those last two games and beyond.

Well stated Tommy!

Cats win the next three games, only if the weather is nice and cold for Kennesaw game, being that their home is in Georgia!

Kennesaw is ranked. They're no easy win.

Not saying they're an easy win, but they have played a pretty weak schedule.

The elevation difference may be a bigger factor than the weather. The Cats haven't played many cold weather games over the past few years either. Of course, the Cats get to live in a cold weather environment, at least in the winter they do.
