I think Troy will be in the #1 rotation for running back with Logan Jones and Tyler Natee. JMO.
I realize Natee is expected to be more of a fb but I believe, if he loses some weight, you will see him as more of a pure rb.
I have no reason to believe Jones will not be the main back.

These three are the only RBs will meaningful D1 experience.
Hopeful on the incoming hs guys. Maybe most redshirt unless they have had great off seasons.

I agree as well. I say use Troy in the #1 rotation at running back and also use him as a situational pass rush specialist on long passing downs on D (He gets to the QB fast and can also run down the QB from behind if he tries to run to get the first down).

What type of receiver would a 6'3" (conservative I believe) 220 lb. kid with this type of speed make? Great hands we already know and I don't believe I've ever seen a high school team, let alone college, drop as many passes as this team the last two years.

He should be a FB. Running options with him up the middle as the first option would be a fantastic way to set up a plethora of other options. Choate mentioned that the defender facing a Murray option to Natee up the middle would have to make a "business decision." He can't half-way address either of them. If he doesn't give Natee his full attention he'll get run over, if he doesn't give Murray his full attention he'll be left in the dust.

I think Natee will serve either as the guy up the middle or as a pass blocker.

Oh and he was a QB so expect to see a few trick plays with Natee in Wild Cat....

Interesting article about short yardage situations and body types/success rate of so called short yardage backs. I thought it was relevant based on people's faith in Natee being a big body so therefore automatically being a short yardage back.

The statistics show that being a big bodied back has no correlation with being good in short yardage situations. The biggest correlation had to do with having a great/elite offensive line and being a midsized back. Check it out!

Do you ever wonder how a kid can go from completing almost every pass he throws in high school to not being able to complete half of them? Have you ever asked why a pass that hits the receiver in the hands but somehow winds up on the ground counts against the quarterback? If the Cats have to throw it 10 times a game this year I'm going to be pissed at the line and running backs effort.

But I have COMPLETE confidence of will not be average but will be exceptional. Holes that trucks can go through and give Murray options that he didn't have the last two years.
