Is there a specific reason Walker Cozzie isn't in this conversation? Perhaps he's just a year away from making his mark.

In this 3-4 defense, Montana State has two inside linebackers. Right now, Lukas McCarthy and Josh Hill are the top guys. If McCarthy falters, Hill will move to Mike from Will and Mac Bignell will play Will. Jakob McCarthy (as described in the story) is also in the mix. If Bignell moves inside, Chapman is the man at Sam. They basically have 5 guys gunning for 3 spots. Cozzie will be a core special teams player but is a year away from cracking the rotation. Choate has praised his progress however and he could play if the others under perform or are injured.

Wow! This is amazing, currently in the hunt for snaps in our RB rotation we have kids with the following eligibility
True Freshman (Burgess)
True Freshman (Fitzgerald)
True Freshman (Anderson)
Redshirt Freshman (Pegues)
Redshirt Freshman (Roper)
Sophomore (Vander)
Junior (Jones)
Junior (James)
And then after 4 games our lone Senior (LaSane)
