The defense was dominant. I will say that ND had pass sets where they only had two kids running routes, so that leaves 8 blocking, and MT was only rushing their front four and still getting to the QB. You could just see the huge gap in athletic ability between the two teams. The cat commits looked very good and so did the griz commits. Welnel has always been able to drop back in coverage but during that game he looked even smoother in his pass coverage. Gilman looked like a man amoung boys out there.

Any information on why Hashley didn't play? He still hasn't been added to the online roster.

I'm wondering about Hashley, too. Hawks didn't say he didn't play, he asked if he's not playing. I'm also wondering about the stats for the game. I'm pretty sure they released stats from previous years, but I didn't see any in any of the on-line articles.

Just my opinion. I think it was either him resting his knee and/or simply helping his family get organized and moved to Great Falls.

Well that would suck ... only ok part of that is that he was going to redshirt anyway, so he will get a lot of time to rest up and get that knee fixed if that is indeed the case.

The lowest scoring output by Montana is 16 points. North Dakota has been held under 16 points a total of 14 times in 24 games and has been shutout three times. They were held under 16 eight games straight from 1997-2004. Montana has scored 30 or more 14 times to just 3 times for ND.

I had a chance to see Mccutcheon play basketball earlier this year. His athleticism is impressive and I thought he was the best athelete I saw during the basketball season. I saw Keaton Anderson and Troy Anderson run track this year and wow! They looked like the best atheletes in track. These three will have a major impact on the future Bobcat success. I think they are "can't miss" prospects.

Hashley is on campus this week with Gilman and Troy Andersen for orientation and Jaxen played in the softball game last night. I think he's fine.
