“The interception was sweet but I had the easy part,” Chapman said. “Bryce Alley had the coverage, made a play and I just ran it back.”

I am optimistic after watching the scrimmage. My confidence level that the coaching of Armstrong and McGhee is going to pay dividends on offense is increasing.

I enjoyed watching Coach Fish try to coach up Matt Miller on the sidelines.

Me too ... very good

Hope for a quick recovery because this summer was going to be huge for his development

Fingers crossed ... Keon Stephens also left the scrimmage with what appeared to me to be a knee. I did see him running on the sidelines so that is a positive sign.

I just read the Chronicles story on the game and Gabriel mentioned a potential Power-5 dropdown player was at the game. I'm guessing a Corner since that's a position that is in need right now. Any ideas on who that potential dropdown person is?

Hadley's sister was sitting in the stands not far from us. My little brother asked her what was up and she said it was an ACL injury. I sure as hell hope she was just bein dramatic. If it was really that serious, I think we'd know by now. Hadley's ceiling is so freakin high. Hope he's alright.

Stephens got tackled pretty awkward, but I'm thinkin it was just a hyper-extension from what I saw. Hopefullly he's all good too.

I've heard that as well ... would suck. Hopefully not torn and he can get back on track for this summer ... as you mentioned incredibly high ceiling.

Bad deal for Jacob, I hope it isn't serious. However, we wouldn't know by now if it's torn. You usually have to wait until the swelling goes down before an MRI and that can take a few days or more than a week. My brother, dad, and cousin all blew their knees and they didn't have MRIs before 7 days. I hope it isn't an ACL tear, but if his sister said that, chances are the doctors told him that they think it's probably an ACL, which sucks.

If your left, you aren’t right.

Justin Paige appears to have put on several pounds of muscle and looked stronger.

They ran a few curls to Paige that looked pretty good. That's going to be automatic with teams that back off to respect his speed.

Haha, I didn't see it but heard from a griz fan friend of mine that their QB situation, and O line, did not look good.

Who is #42, is that the other McCarthy brother? I noticed him a few times but the program didn't have #42.
