BSC 2017 FBS Schedule

Post by Mr Lisle » Sun Mar 12, 2017 6:18 pm

BSC teams will be playing 15 FBS (so called "body bag games") in 2017

The lineup looks like this

Washington State-Montana State University Fighting Bobcats
Washington-Montana
Utah-North Dakota
Arizona-Northern Arizona
San Jose State-Cal Poly
San Diego State- Cal Davis
California-Weber State
BYU-Portland State
Oregon State-Portland State
Utah State-Idaho State
Nevada-Idaho State
Oregon-Southern Utah
Florida-Northern Colorado
Colorado-Northern Colorado
Texas Tech-Eastern Washington

Tough days ahead for some of our conference members. Some have a chance. Any guesses on the final BSC record?

4. Cats win, PSU beats OSU, Poly beats San Jose State and NAU beats AZ. Texas Tech Eastern will be in the 50s or 60s and be close.

Montana, North Dakota, Cal Poly and Idaho State should do well and possibly win.

You off your meds again? The ONLY team of the group you posted that has any shot is cal poly. UM doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell of beating a national semifinalist...

Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.

Well, I hear they might because they have an innovative offence that no one can shut down, and a coach who has friends in the NFL. :coffee:

Ya, of ALL these match ups - the UM\Husky one might be the most lopsided. If they can't beat Northern Colorado with a senior veteran QB they sure as hell won''t compete with one of the best football teams in the country while trying to break in a new QB.

I would be surprised if we see any wins from the Big Sky this season. The better teams in the conference are playing the better teams in FBS.

I think Texas Tech is beatable by Eastern. Cal Poly could beat San Jose State. I don't think Utah will blow out North Dakota.

Idaho State has no chance. They are the worst team in the Big Sky. I doubt they will beat an FBS school this year.

There will be some competitive games and I expect at least one or two wins.

0-15 85%
1-14 10% best chance: Cal Poly
2-13 3% Cal Poly, UCD, PSU best chances, EWU, MSU long shots

I think Utah will shutout UND. I'm gonna say 42-0 in that game. Utes will run for 400 yards.

Agree - where UND has been strong, Utah is much stronger. Best DL in the Pac12, and their OL will destroy UND. Utes team speed on D will snuff The Sue out. Could blow them out if they wanted, but Whit always holds back in FCS games, doesn't give tape to Pac12. Utes new OC is from EWU so he's familiar, and may want to step on the gas.
