Awesome! Exactly what the O-line needs... they need to be disciplined, immovable bodies!

But keep in mind that everyone always loves/wants the loud and authoritative coach. But you still need to show results. Hope it translates to the field.

Is it just me, or is Choate still somewhat enamored with Bruggman? It seems it will be an interesting season.
He's being a good coach. Murray is the guy going into next year but don't see a problem with making Chris prove it to everyone this spring. And it is true that Messingham did Tyler no favors especially with the lack of play-action last year. However, Tyler didn't do himself any favors by never keeping the ball while running the zone-read option attack to keep the defense honest. Basically, no one did anyone any favors last year. This is how 4-7 seasons happen.
Thanks for your insights.

Agreed, I love coaches with passion though. Players will feed off that energy, and lets face it, energy/will is a big factor at the FCS level of football.

After watching this video I have 0 doubts in the direction of our program. A few take aways:
1. I like coach Armstrong, very confident man stressing the fundamentals.
2. Not trying to be mean, but after football Murray could be a very successful Prince impersonator.
3. I think McGhee is going to have a huge impact on our program again. At the very end of his interview you can see him get caught up and wishing he was playing for coach Armstrong, because of the way he wants to tailor the offense to Murray's abilities. Coach Armstrong was the easy pick of OC.

I think we have a great staff right now destine for great things.

cool picture (link below) of Murray and McGhee

Big Sky Freshman of the year (after only starting 5 or 6 games).... now being coached by the great DeNarious McGhee.... the rest of the league can not be happy about this. :D

Benson is such a physical specimen, and Chapman was straight productive.

Man we have a lot of potential talent on the roster right now.

Glad to hear that! Those 2 were studs in high school, and definitely 2 of last year's recruits that I'm most interested to see play.

if I remember correctly, Chapman had some injuries in Highschool, which were a concern... is that all behind him now?

They both had an injury history in high school that kept them out of parts of their high school careers. Right now they are both at full health and they look great. Will they get injured again in college? Probably but I'll take injuries if they come with a certain amount of production. For example, Dan Ogden and Brad Daly were basically "injured" throughout their entire careers but their production was outstanding. I expect to see Balue and Chase to get dinged up more than a few times throughout their careers but I also expect a certain level of production from them knowing how talented they are.
