Pretty sure coaches can't coach players during the summer. If you notice, Chris never says "Denarius will coach me during the summer." Ted being Ted here. https://twitter.com/montanasports/status/857263002810273792

Just wondering. If McGhee was a private QB trainer like George Whitfield(the guy Dakota trained with). Could Murray work out with him?

Murray has a personal QB coach in California. The coach has some sort of a private school there and used to work at USC or UCLA. Murray has mentioned the guy before on his Twitter feed.

I believe this is who Murray was referring to.

Yeah I got that Murray has a guy in California. But the title of Ted's article was "MSU QB Chris Murray will focus on taking more instruction from QB coach DeNarius McGhee this summer" and my point was I don't think he can take instruction from McGhee this summer.

That would in fact be an NCAA rules violation.

AFCAT: So that is why I made sure and said Chris responded to the question by mentioning a QB coach at home in California and individual work he wants to get done on his own this summer. Ted should know this and probably change the title of the article.

I was just responding to Hawks86. I saw Murray post something about this California Coach on twitter a while back. I'm not calling out all you experts. I'm just a regular Joe that likes to follow Bobcat football. I have no doubt you all know and care more about this stuff than I do. No offense intended.

We will have 5-6 stories out of Montana State spring ball over the next 3-4 weeks or so. Here's the first installment of that series.
