Also hoping we can hold onto DeVaughn, he's a good looking prospect that could end up being a real player in a couple years. Super excited about the Washington kids that just verballed, Putney especially could see the field this year and plays a position that we have been sorely lacking all-conference players for the better part of a decade. Can't wait for tomorrow!
Bryson McCabe was an All-Big Sky safety in 2016 and 2017 earning 2nd-Team honors in 2016 along with 3rd-Team honors in 2017.

Rob Marshall earned 3rd-Team honors at safety in 2014.

Steven Bethley earned Honorable Mention at safety in 2013 (a year in which he played with a broken hand the entire year), 2012, and 2011.

Joel Fuller earned 1st-Team honors at safety in 2012 and 2nd-Team in 2011.

Jordan Craney and Michael Rider earned Honorable Mention honors in 2010 their senior seasons. Rider also was HM his junior season in 2009.

Anyway, over the past decade the only year MSU hasn't have a safety get at least honorable mention at safety is 2015 (the year Ash got fired). Over the past decade, Fuller is the only player to earn 1st-Team honors. Overall, I agree with you BozoneCat. MSU has not had dominant safety play in a while. I felt Fuller and Bethley in 2012 was the best combo over the past decade which was also the last year MSU won a Big Sky title.
I hear what you're saying, and I certainly don't want to disparage any of those guys in any way. But I think there is a pretty big difference between all of those guys and truly dominant safety play from guys like Kane Ioane and the UND safety (can't remember his name). Those guys just OWN the field. I agree that JoJo showed good promise last year before getting hurt, so if he comes back healthy and we can get another stud back there, this defense could be ready to take the next step towards becoming a truly dominant defense.

https://twitter.com/CorbinNohr/status/961111204835086337 Lost a DE commit today to UConn (Pierce DeVaughn) so Corbin gets an offer today at the same position. However, I think this is a PWO offer.

I'm going to put this in the thread and take it off the OP. The vast majority of this list were kids we offered early and signed elsewhere, especially during the early signing period. A good amount of the others I threw on here near the end of recruiting likely didn't have offers from MSU anymore, despite getting one from MSU during last spring, summer, or fall. Most of these kids went FBS on this list.

I'm not really in the habit of sending tweets anyway, but what about tweeting at signees?

According to this, you can't until they start attending classes.

"It is an NCAA violation for Boosters (the NCAA technical term is Representatives of Athletic Interest) to communicate directly with prospects and their family members. This includes on and off campus contact, general correspondence (tweets, Facebook posts, message boards, etc.), and telephone calls. This restriction remains in place until the student attends classes at MSU.

On behalf of Bobcat Athletics, we ask that you do not engage with prospects or their family members on Bobcat Nation as to avoid NCAA violations and possible consequences on the eligibility of the prospect.

Please leave the recruiting to Bobcat Coaches. We appreciate your continued support and enthusiastic dedication to Bobcat Athletics. We encourage you to continue to support our programs through permissible means (such as attending events, giving to the Bobcat Club, etc.) and ask that you seek guidance from our Compliance Office if you have questions."

Even when he ranks Bobcat players high, its pretty easy to see how they do their rankings. They base a lot of them off star ratings, how many offers, and how many "big school" offers a kid has.

Updated the list with three new signees since signing day:

Todd Payne - TE/DE from Idaho Falls. Will likely be a PWO. Posted his commitment after junior day.

Dante Sparaco

Daniel Hardy
