It's definitely more PR than anything, but if they're recruiting somebody specific, they can pull them out of class and say hello. We didn't have anybody here at Bigfork this year, so Denarius just walked down the hall and smiled and said hello to just about everybody here. He had kids and faculty talking. That stuff will pay off down the road for sure. Bunch of football players puffing out their chests a little bit as they walked by him.Hi-Line Bobcat wrote:It's more of a PR deal, like meet with coaches, interact with other faculty, and just be there to be seen by students. My mom is a teacher and BJ came to the school she teaches last year, he didn't show up specifically for a kid, but instead he was there to meet coaches, teachers, and to be seen by students.91catAlum wrote:Maybe a dumb question, but what are coaches allowed to do with these kids during a school day? Do they pull them out of their classes to talk to them, or what exactly happens?

I think this is great and makes me proud to be an MSU alum. There might not be an athlete that will play for us but maybe we'll get some good students to go to MSU!kennethnoisewater wrote:It's definitely more PR than anything, but if they're recruiting somebody specific, they can pull them out of class and say hello. Cole isn't lying here. Charlo is one of the favorites next year with the return of one of the best players in Montana (Class of 2019), Landers Smith.

For sure, OLB but I can also see him being a safety who can play deep and also roll up and play in the boxVimSince03 wrote:Is Denarius referencing QB/LB Garrett Graves? Top 10 player in the state going into his senior season. Great tape and state champion wrestler. Projects to a lot of spots on the football field but I think he would best develop at OLB.

There's a reason. It's not a look. His dad Bill, was one of the best cowboys ever born. BJ is a pretty good hand himself.VimSince03 wrote:Oh he definitely pulls off the rancher look.bobcat99 wrote:BJ just looks like an eastern MT rancher to me. Idk why, something about that ornery smirk.

Didn't know Bill but his other Dad John was pretty handy and a Hell of a good Guy. Both BJ and his half brother Stacy arePHAT CAT wrote:There's a reason. It's not a look.
