He put up pretty dang good #'s at QB this year (over 300yds a game), but like others have said his future may be at LB or TE . . .good athlete and a real good frame. Could leave college as a 6-3, 235lbs linebacker if needed
Everything I am hearing is saying he is going to MSU to compete at QB.
Interesting. Could be a tough road, with Rovig coming in too. But there never a sure thing, so who knows.
Depth is always a good thing. And Callahan has the advantage of being a good enough athlete to switch to OLB if needed. Get as many good football players as possible.

I need that poster. Do they have them in the athletic office yet?

I like the choices for players on the poster too. I didn't even notice the trophy the first time I looked at it.

Passing: 208/327 (63.6%) for 3,178 yards and 26 TD to 5 INT passing
Rushing: 104 carries for 379 yards and 13 TDs

2016 Class AA All-State Second Team - QB
2016 Eastern AA First Team - QB
I was able to watch him play quite a few games, he is a great qb, he has the size, speed and ability to play lots of positions. Great Pick up no matter where he ends up playing. Congrats.

Slightly better than last year! :D "Let put some Random Mountains behind the end zone and blacked out faces" SUPER RAD, I still wonder who thought last years looked good.

Yeah he has some definite ability to be a good college QB. Best throw, in my opinion, comes at 1:33 in this highlight film: He slides to his left, keeps his shoulders square, and drops a sideline throw in between Billings Senior standouts Keaton Anderson and Gabe Sulser. As Tim Cramsey used to say, "He can spin it."

I liked the throw he make at :50. He had a window and he put it in that window. Not a wide open receiver that had beat everyone.1:59 too. 2:48 he makes a throw to a wide open receiver, but he throws it to the shoulder that makes the receiver turn up field to catch it as the WR is running to the sideline so he is in a position to run upfield. The other shoulder and the receiver has to turn almost 270 degrees to go upfield. 3:18 was over one defender but in front of another for a good throw. He's not afraid to take a hit on his runs.

It's amazing how quickly the QB position is now becoming a possible position of good depth and strength.
