Vim's All-Ash Team
Didn't want to post this in CelticCat's thread so there wouldn't be any confusion on commentary. It's fun to go back and look. I'm also going to put out an All-Anti-Ash Team, which has been fun to compile thus far. Garrett Marino is the star DE of that list!
Here is my list:
QB
1st Team - Denarius McGhee
2nd Team - Dakota Prukop
Honorable Mention - Jake Bleskin
RB
1st Team - Cody Kirk, Demetrius Crawford
2nd Team - Shawn Johnson

2nd Team - Chad Newell
Honorable Mention - None
WR
1st Team - Tanner Bleskin, Elvis Akpla, Mitch Griebel

2nd Team - Alex Eekhoff
Honorable Mention - Mitch Brott
DE (Bandit/Rush)

DE (Strong)
1st Team - John Laidet

Re: Vim's All-Ash Team
Cole Moore was a really good and underrated football player and was much better in coverage than Mac at Sam. I still remember Cole flying around everywhere against SMU in 2013. That is why I gave him the nod. Obviously Mac is great at sniffing things out in the backfield. It wasn't easy but I went with Cole.mslacatfan wrote:Cole Moore over Mac bignell? Vim's All-Ash Team
Who was #61 in 2010? That kid played every position on the OL. Also, we had a Polynesian at right guard that year that was just awesome. He broke his leg against EWU.

Re: Vim's All-Ash Team
Lol Stephen Memory.
I remember after he got booted I responded to a post on Craigslist about some headphones. Meet up with the kid selling them, and it ended up being Memory. He was very high. No longer questioned why he wasn't on the team.
/not that he was the only one. Oh the stories from those days.

Terrien and Tauanuu if they were Ash recruits should be on the list

Ben was in Ash's first recruiting class. Alex was part of Kramer's last class.LongTimeCatFan wrote:Big Ben Tauanuu!bobcat99 wrote:Ben Tuamunu or something. Kind of a douchey move to go ahead and post this thread after Celtic researched and authored the original.

I gave mention that it was a fun idea and I posted my own. Mods can move it if they want. I could just delete it and post my all anti ash team.Common Cat wrote:Kind of a douchey move to go ahead and post this thread after Celtic researched and authored the original.
