In looking at today's standings, 5-0 NoDak has not and will not play UM or EWU. At 4-0, Weber will not play UM or EWU and so forth with all of the other top 6 in terms of not all having head-to-head. Below is the ideal football conference for us once Idaho joins, using a 9-game conference schedule. Our friends from Pocatello, Greely, Portland and Sacramento won't love it, but that's why this is a message board and I'm not the commissioner of any league.
Montana – Montana State
Idaho – EWU
So. Utah – Weber State
UC Davis – Cal Poly
NAU – North Dakota
Idaho State – Northern Colorado (BOOTED)
Portland State – Sac State (BOOTED)
The booted teams can form their own 4-team league and play each other 3 times, similar to the old Frontier schedule. The winner each year gets the right to replace last place in the BSC if that team has finished last 3 consecutive years.
