The Griz at no. 2 seems a little unfair to me. I would have both Cal Poly and UND ahead of them. Cal Poly beat them and their only loss is to undefeated UND. UND is undefeated and beat Cal Poly, which lost to UM. UND also beat So. Utah just as handily as UM did and statistically beat SSU just as bad as UM did...on the road. They've also played a much tougher non-conference slate. Cal Poly has beaten SDSU on the road, which just beat UND on the road, and has played a tougher non-conference slate.

The Griz have played a crème puff schedule (MVSU, SFU, and SAC) and their big offensive outputs have come against terrible defenses. The type of offense they run is going to rack up huge points and yards against really bad defenses, while teams like UND don't have the style of offense to do that. Against No. Iowa, which btw is only 2-4, they barely broke 200 yards. So placing them at no. 2 because their offense has pounded some poor defenses is poorly researched.
